USRN Executive Development Workshop

The USRN organises Executive Development Workshop biennially, with member institutions taking turns to host the programme in their respective countries so as to facilitate learning from each other and exchange of good practices and policies relating to USR.

2019 Workshop [Hosted by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University]

The forth USRN Executive Development Programme was hosted by Al-Farabi Kazakhstan National University on 17 – 18 September.  Representatives from Kyoto University, University of Haifa, University of Pretoria, Yonsei University and PolyU joined the workshop. The two-day workshop showcases KazNU’s USR activities on different aspects including social work education, research and practice with USR, promoting the integrity and anti-corruption culture, inter-ethnic harmony and local community engagement, and addressing domestic violence and sustainable development of society. Colleagues from our partner institutions also had chances to share and discuss their work on related areas.
