Global Engagement & Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development (GEEF) 2023 “Turning Point: From Crisis into Opportunity”

Co-hosed by Yonsei University’s Institute for Global Engagement & Empowerment (IGEE), Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a Better Future, and Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens, the Global Engagement & Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development (GEEF) 2023 themed “Turning Point: From Crisis into Opportunity”, will be held in a hybrid format on 2-3 February 2023.

GEEF is an annual international event where all stakeholders, including global leaders and experts, convene to collaborate towards accomplishing the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The GEEF 2023 will examine the progress at the mid-point on the way to 2030 for achievement of SDGs and facilitate discourse on the future directions of SDGs.

The USRN is honoured to be invited to the featured plenary session: Feature of Higher Education in the upcoming GEEF 2023 on 3 February 2023 at 09:30 – 10:30 (KST, UTC+9). The session will share opinions and insights on the direction for higher education, the role of educational institutions, and the importance of education evaluation in achieving sustainable development. Professor Kwok-yin Wong, Vice President (Education) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will participate in the plenary session as a panelist on behalf of the USRN.
