The Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (JCDISI) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is hosting the PolyU Jockey Club “Operation SoInno” Social Innovation Regional Forum (SIRF) 2022 virtually on Friday, 9 December 2022, 14:30 – 17:40 Hong Kong SAR Time (GMT +8).
Themed “Exploring Age-inclusive Communities under COVID-19: Navigating Post-pandemic Era with Social Innovation”, the Forum invites social innovators from across Asia Pacific to explore and discover new possibilities for age-inclusive communities.
Apart from the keynote speeches and panel discussions, there will be a special session named “Rising Star Sharing Session – Young Innovators” where the three winning student teams of the USRN Virtual Boot Camp + Seed Fund Competition are invited to present their project outcomes.

About PolyU Jockey Club “Operation Solnno”
Organised by the Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (JCDISI) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the 3-year social innovation programme is to innovate solutions, in collaboration with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, to respond to social challenges with a view to improving life in Hong Kong. The whole programme consists of four inter-linked key components, namely (i) the “One from Hundred Thousand” Social Innovation Symposium Series, (ii) SOINNO Action Projects, (iii) SOINNO Education, and (iv) SOINNO Knowledge Platform. The programme would engage the trans-disciplinary forces of academia, non-governmental organisations, professional bodies, members of the public, corporations and the Government to generate innovative ideas and practical actions.
