It was the third consecutive year the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) offered scholarship for students from member institutions of USRN to participate in service-learning projects worldwide.
In 2017 summer, 4 students from the University of Haifa, Israel, were selected to participate in the scheme. They joined the Cambodia Solar Power Service-Learning Project offered by Department of Computing of PolyU and served in Cambodia during 30 May-19 June 2017. In the past 3 years, the GSLS has supported 21 students from 6 USRN member universities to do service-learning.
