2016 Workshop [Hosted by The University of Manchester]

Members of the USR Network from eight different universities visited The University of Manchester in July 2016 to learn its practices and initiatives in the area of social responsibility.

During the two-day visit, the delegation met with researchers, staff and students of The University of Manchester and were briefed on a wide range of programmes and projects, such as:

Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing (MICRA)
Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI)
Manchester Museum
Global Development Institute (GDI)
Manchester Access Programme
The Works
(multi-award-winning employment facility)
Equity and Merit Programme
(for international students from the world’s least developed countries to study at no fees and with full living costs in Manchester at Master’s level)
