Four students from two University Social Responsibility Network (USR Network) universities, the University of Haifa and Sichuan University, joined the Summer School in 2016. Participated in the courses on "Service Leadership" and "Global China," the students were inspired with the concepts of being a serving leader, and showed the other side of China.

The field trips were well arranged for the topics and the course," said Lyu. Students of Global China joined in three field trips to the Jingwangjiayuan Neighborhood Center, the Zhengyang Farm and Sanlitun, and learned about the relationship between economic and rural development as well as community building.
